        Person-Centered Model

The Model > What is different about it?

What is different about it?

The Person-Centered Model is based on some simple common sense principles:

  • Provide the best possible quality of life and quality of service to the people who live in our communities by giving them personal attention

  • Kep them as active, happy, and healthy as possible by respecting their wishes, meeting their needs, fulfilling their desires, and focusing on each person's positive outcomes.

  • Give people choices, freedom, independence, self-respect, and control of their lives by respecting their rights and involving them in the decision making process.

  • Provide a fun and enjoyable working environment for staff.

  • Treat people with dignity, respect, courtesy, and politeness.

Six Critical Components of the Person-Centered Model

   What is different about it?

   What is the Learning Circle?

   How can I implement it?
