In the early 1950s, leaders of the Presbyterian Church envisioned faith-based, not-for-profit, Westminster Communities of Florida to help fulfill the church’s ministry to older adults. Today, we serve more than 5,200 residents of all faiths who are in search of an enlightened, fully integrated, person-centered approach to health and wellness. We operate 19 retirement communities, a pharmacy service and a home health care business.
Our commitment to fiscal responsibility provides a stable financial foundation in even difficult economic times. We maintain an enviable A- bond grade from the Fitch Group credit rating agency. In making its determination, Fitch lauded our light debt burden and “attractive, well-maintained campuses in prime Florida markets.” Read the Fitch report here
