HSG Program for Retired Presbyterian Ministers,
Missionaries, Church Educators, & Spouse or Surviving Spouse

Assistance with an Entrance Fee

  1. An Honorable Service Grant equal to 20% of the Entrance Fee (no limit) for an existing apartment at:

       Westminster Bradenton Manor - Bradenton
       Westminster Palms - St. Petersburg
       Westminster Shores - St. Petersburg
       Westminster Suncoast - St. Petersburg
       Westminster Bradenton Towers - Bradenton
       Westminster Woods on Julington Creek - Jacksonville
     
  2. An Honorable Service Grant equal to 10% of the Entrance Fee, up to $10,000, for an existing apartment at:

       Westminster Oaks - Tallahassee
       Westminster Towers - Orlando
       Winter Park Towers - Winter Park
     
  3. An Honorable Service Grant of $10,000 towards the Entrance Fee for any existing village accommodation at Westminster communities offering this type of housing.
     
  4. An Honorable Service Grant of $10,000 towards the Entrance Fee at:

       Westminster Palms, Palm Bay Apts - St. Petersburg
       Westminster Woods on Julington Creek, Magnolia Apts - Jacksonville
     
  5. Other Entrance Fee assistance may be available through the Board of Pensions Retirement Housing Assistance Program. If desired, we will help you apply to the Board of Pensions and coordinate available benefits.  Information is available at the Board of Pensions website.
     
  6. The Board of Pensions and our Foundation may provide some assistance with Monthly Service Fees for those with a demonstrated financial need.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 65 years of age
  • Completion of 20 years of service to the Presbyterian Church. Individuals serving the Church at least 10 years, but less than 20, may be eligible for a prorated grant based on length of service
  • Recommendation from retiree's Presbytery or Synod.
