Membership in the Legacy Society is automatic when a donor names the Westminster Retirement Communities Foundation in his or her will, trust, charitable gift annuity or other estate designation. Copies of wills, trusts, and other relevant documentation will be kept strictly confidential and secure.
Benefits include an invitation to the annual reception honoring Legacy Society members, invitations to special events, listing in the recognition opportunities, and a memento of recognition.
Annual fund donors receive an invitation to the donor recognition event held at each community annually.
Many communities have Recognition Trees to commemorate donors' gifts. Each is designed for the residents and donors in that particular community. Legacy Society members' names are engraved on the member's community Tree.
