During the summer of 2004, Florida was pummeled by four hurricanes in a 6-week period between August 13, 2004 and September 25, 2004. Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne crossed Central Florida while Hurricane Ivan came onshore in Pensacola.
Many communities suffered through evacuation, power outages, health center dislocations, and endless waiting as these storms battered Florida. But through it all the Westminster staff, managers, and our residents worked tirelessly under arduous circumstances to assure everybody's comfort and well-being.
